TIL that I average days just aren't good enough for me. Today I pretty much did nothing--I watched a couple movies/TV shows, went grocery shopping, cooked food/baked cookies, and that was about it. Normal everyday life stuff that I picture the average person doing on a Sunday. It kind of sucks.
I don't know when I became a mild thrill-seeker. I don't know when the notion of little to no down time became the happy normal for me. It's weird to think that I look forward to the weekdays when my days are filled with plans for most hours of the day and I just don't have time for TV, for mediocrity. I think it's great to be able to recognize what makes me happy, and I'm hoping that I'll keep meeting new people and making new friends to continue this happy period in my life. I think it's important to take a step back when life feels weird and figure out how to make it better. So here's to the weekend ending so I can enjoy a week full of gym dates, holiday parties, birthdays, lunch dates, and puppy play dates! #stokedformonday
