For the past 6 months, I've been training hard to get in better shape in hopes of someday becoming a group fitness instructor. Well, this past Sunday was the big day for me-- I completed the Turbo Kick instructor training. It felt absolutely AMAZING to be there.
I was surrounded by others who came from all fitness walks of life--from gym teachers, to Beach Body coaches, even people who had never done/seen Turbo Kick before. Everyone was excited. This was our chance to share our passion for fitness.
Our presenter, Jenn Starling, said something that really struck a chord with me: "So you found your soul mate workout?" It was true. It was insanely true. I've seen so many people share their running stats on Facebook. There are people who bike every day. Some people lift several times per week. Everyone has something different that works for them.
Once I start teaching, I'll let you know how it goes. In the meantime... I'll do 2 squats per person who comments on this posting everyday for the rest of the week. So...whatcha got for me?
What type of workouts work for you? What are your fitness goals?
